"For hassle-free travel to our properties, we request all guests to carry the following documents:
- Fully Vaccinated Certificate (2 doses) for all guests above 18 years and their accompanying drivers
- If your vaccination is incomplete, a negative RT-PCR report with a Swab Collection Time Stamp of not more than 48 hours before check-in time is required
- All asymptomatic children below 5 years of age are exempted from carrying an RT-PCR negative test report and further RT-PCR testing at Port Blair Airport
- ID proofs of all guests and accompanying drivers are required

By Air: The closest airport is Cochin International Airport, about 77 kms from the resort. Many domestic, as well as international flights fly to this destination.
By Rail: Kottayam Railway Station is at a distance of about 18 kms from the resort. Trains from prominent cities stop here.
By Road: The resort is located about 47 kms from Kochi and about 17 kms from Kottayam. The resort is a 10-minute boat ride from the Kavanatinkara boat landing,

Availability: Bookings are subject to availability. Please contact Auberge.Vacations for the same. The package cannot be split. Offer is only available for stays on consecutive nights.
Change of Date: If you need to amend your travel dates, 1 change in dates can be done at no additional charge, provided that the change is made at least 30 days prior to the original arrival date and is subject to availability for the newly requested dates. Please note that the final decision is at the discretion of the Hotel.
Payment: 100% of the payment amount will be required to be paid at the time of booking.
Hotel Cancellation Policy: All bookings can be cancelled and qualify for a 100% refund in the form of AVcredits, provided it is done strictly 15 days prior to check-in date; for the period 21 December to 10 January, it would be 30 days. Post that, any cancellation, including a no-show on the day of arrival, will incur a full payment. Refunds in the original mode of payment would be possible with a 5% transaction charge.
Validity: Each package is valid for two adults.
Extra Guest Policy: Where applicable, an extra adult can stay at a surcharge mentioned in the extra person policy
Child Policy: One child under the age of 6 years may stay free of charge in existing bedding. A child between 6 and 12 years may stay at a surcharge of Rs. 1350 + GST (includes bed + breakfast), a child above the age of 12 would be charged Rs. 1650 + GST
Pet Policy: Dogs, cats and birds are considered as “pets”. Charges for accommodating the pet is INR 2500/- which includes the pet food once a day and special cleaning of the room. Only 1 pet weighing less than 15 kgs will be allowed per room at any time
Activities: Certain activities are subject to weather conditions and age restrictions.
For cancellations necessitated by force majeure situations (such as Government mandate lock down or closures), the booking will be rescheduled for a future date.

Bird Watching: The Vembanad is one of India’s largest lakes and wetland eco-systems and is home to a variety of bird species, out of which many can be seen within the greenery of the hotel. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary: The Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, situated on the banks of Lake Vembanad, is less than 10 minutes away from the resort. Amongst the most popular bird watching spots in the country, the sanctuary is spread over 14 acres and is visited by many migratory birds from places as far north as Siberia. Boat rides around the sanctuary are extremely relaxing and are great for bird watching. You will get acquainted with native kingfishers, heron, waterfowl, golden-backed woodpeckers and migratory gulls, teals and Siberian Cranes.

Some of the main attractions are; The 1,000 year old mosque - Thazhathangady Juma Masjid - known for its rich architecture and woodwork. The ancient Neendoor Subrahmanya Swami Temple is believed to have brought glory and fame to the local area.
